Get to Know Me

Hi I’m Ethan!

Originally from Syracuse, NY, I grew up with constant dreams of traveling the world. I spent a majority of my summers in the Adirondack park growing up and that’s where I fell in love with the outdoors and my love of adventure. My first stop on my current journey was a small mountain town in the Hudson Valley of New York, called New Paltz. I spent my time working as an electrician and general contractor, an EMT, a ski patroller and a few other things mixed in, I met some of my greatest friends along the way and learned many highly valuable skills throughout all the different fields I was a part of. After my time spent in New Paltz, that dream of traveling never left my mind, I decided it was time to get out of New York. I moved to Philadelphia and while there it hit me that the purpose of living is whatever you want to make of it. I spent my time in Philly advancing my photography, meeting many new people and refining my knowledge on certain topics and skills. However, after almost ten months, it still didn’t feel right, I didn’t love it. So, I set out to Alaska to become a backpacking guide, with my truck and camper in tow. During my time in Alaska I realized the real reason I love to live is to see new places, experience new activities, meet good hearted people, and learn as many new skills along the way.
