Between 2020-2024 I worked for an Electrician in Gardiner, NY. I learned from a master electrician, among other contractors important skills related to the electrical trade as well as the trades in general. A keen attention to detail was embedded into my mind as I learned skills surrounding troubleshooting, new build wiring and circuit installation, residential and commercial code compliance and more.

Since 2020 I have been a certified NYS and National Registry Emergency Medical Technician. I have worked with an agency on a rig, as an on call EMT for a large hospitality resort, as a stand by for large college sporting events, and club events, and part of a volunteer search and rescue. Recently I obtained my Wilderness First Responder certification to become a Wilderness- EMT (WEMT).

For two winters I worked as a Ski Patroller for Mt Peters Ski Area in New York. Using my EMT certification I responded to emergencies on and off the hill and helped assist with accident prevention. I learned skills related to proper lift evacuation, proper crowd control in emergencies, and functional team dynamics.

Summer of 2025, I was a backpacking guide in Haines, Alaska. For the duration of the summer I guided 5 day overnight trips in the Alaska wilderness. I learned new skills and refined some old ones including camp set up, bear safety, handling emergencies in the field, and professional etiquette.

Summer 2026, Lead four day sea kayak trips in the Chilkat Inlet in Haines, AK. As well as a six day se kayak trip in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. I advanced my skills on reading water, tides and maintaining safe and efficient travel through open bodies of water.
