Untitled I

5/’24

Daddy said I Lost my mind

Mamma said she wants to cry

Cause this just ain’t the life I’s meant to live

To be a tethered one man show

Just ain’t the way it’s supposed to go

Am I the only one who seems to see it now?

What’s the joy in a life we’ll waste

We’re all just built with quickened pace

I think we oughta take it a little slow

See what life has made us for

What stories the land can show

Recall the times of nana sitting, watching water flow

Did you know that dreamers only Die when they get tired

And believers only make the world they can

But I’ve been hopeful for sometime with all of my Desires

To see the rest of this destined golden land

And if I don’t get myself home

I promise mama I’m not alone

I’m Living life

And there's a reason why

That the whisper of love was within everything done”

The Poet

1/16/25

Darling darling beauty

With green lightning in the sky

Twinkling stars forever far

As they gleam all in your eye

All around is casted shadow

While the poet sings his words

The only sound of music bound

From the natural disturb

And we casually sit around

In the keenness ember light

Thinking if we’d changed at times

Would you still be here tonight

With the mountains and the city glow

Our dreams endless carried on

Casting glances across the darklit sky

As the poet rambles on

Listen to the stories

Of where he's come around

Of what he’s seen, of what’s unkeen

Of monumentality found

See the old folks sitting in bars

Drinking beer and laughing

Saying smoke ain’t killed me yet

But it’s one day bound to happen

Or figure I’ll find home

In a place that ain’t meant for me

But if I’m lucky to make it here

I’ll find homes an often changing mystery

So when those eyes stare back at me

After long hard roads are traveled

Understand the poets words

Soon come quick unraveled

And we’ll stand another chance

To focus on our dreams ahead

For now focus on his words

I’m a lover until I’m dead

Untitled II

Howling winds whisper to lonesome travelers ear

“Walk this way swiftly, and you shall never see fear

Touch the ground on which you walk, and you shall heal wounds remained open

Feel the sunshine on your face, as you smile to the heavens

No dream is easy, no story told is short

Laugh with the rush of the rivers, and dance to the tunes of the evergreens

Cry with the rain as to blend it with the world which you live

After all, the world is yours, and you hers

Fuck up your journey, and ask forgiveness, not permission

Visit coasts east and west, and sleep only when the world comes rest

Be true to yourself and others, and remember to love as you go along”

Rushing River

6/11/25

Rushing river I hear you

In the dead of the night

The mist of the morning

I hear your call

“I’m strong, I won't give up!”

Your water passes fast

Across jagged rock ledges

And swiftly through open channels

“Take me, use me, for whatever you need,

but don’t abuse me or you will feel the power I possess”

Rushing river you strengthen me,

But you can weaken me just as fast

“Don’t be fearful boy

I’m here whatever conflict arises

Stories you need told, float them down me

And I shall send them to be seen”

And what if you stop

What if I can’t send them away

“A rushing river never stops

What was once mine, can be mine again

I’ll change course a thousand times to continue my journey

That’s the beauty in flowing wild”

And what if I never get to my destination?

“Destinations are fluid, they never end

Simply because my name changes

Doesn’t mean I have reached my final end

Be strong and always continue on”

Untitled III

7/11/25

Distant peaks hover sorrow valleys

Short and sweet

without a tree nearing the eclipse of looming sun

With lakes and rivers vastly spread unto her mystery

And colored beams bowing down to her

At travelers bedside

Luck or grace or glory

But nevermore

True beauty
